LEGO® Serious Play

LEGO® Serious Play® harnesses the power of playful learning. It is a method used to unleash creativity, spark imagination and create innovation within individuals and within organisations. LEGO Serious Play is also a communication tool, allowing individuals to get their ideas and thoughts across in a situation, where they can feel “safe” to do so.

The LEGO bricks represent ideas through metaphor, and participants build models in response to key challenges, which generates ideas and insight for all participants. When the client shares the “story” of their build, they are communicating their ideas, and we learn, and understand more.

The process is democratic in that everyone builds and everyone shares, with the facilitator encouraging active listening and positive questions. This promotes interconnectivity between teams, co-workers, or within families and classrooms, allowing everyone to learn from each other and be included.

LEGO® Serious Play® is for children, adults, teams, families, friendship groups, organisations, classrooms or anyone who wishes to promote connectiveness and creativity.

As Kinesiologist and Hypnotherapist, I utilise LEGO® Serious Play® for all of these things, but also to allow a safe method to process trauma and stress.

Plus, seriously, LEGO® is FUN.
